Parking tip
Piran is a charming medieval town with narrow, steep streets, which means that parking in the town is very difficult. To make your arrival as easy as possible, we have prepared a short guide.
First and foremost: if you have little luggage, we recommend that you park immediately in the Fornače/Amfora parking garage (located outside the town, address: Fornače 23, Piran) and avoid the crowds in the center, where it is virtually impossible to find a suitable parking space.
If you have a lot of luggage, follow these steps:
1) Free 15-minute entry into the city
You can drive into the city of Piran and park your vehicle for up to 15 minutes free of charge. If you exceed this time, you will be charged an expensive parking fee.
Tip: During this time, stop by our house and pick up a certificate that extends your free parking to 30 minutes. This will give you enough time to unload your luggage.
2) Where to park? – Fornače / Amfora parking garage
The closest parking option for visitors is the Fornače (Amfora) parking garage.

Price: the regular price is €29/24 hours, but for our guests the price is €19/24 hours.
3) How to get from the parking garage to the apartment?
There are two ways to get to the city from the parking garage:
On foot, along the coast (approximately 10–12 minutes) or
With a free elevator and shuttle service:
1. Take the elevator to the ground floor.
2. Wait for the shuttle (payable small bus), which runs every 10 minutes.
3. Get off at the second stop, at the Sarajevo restaurant or opposite the main bus station.
4. Continue from the sea to the Pirat restaurant.5. Befor of the Pirat restaurant, turn to left into Matteotti Street. After 200 meters, you will reach Vodnikov trg. Cross Vodnikov trg and turn right onto Prežihova ulica. Our house is number 12.
